The infographic takes from Arturo Casadevall's journal "Climate Change Brings the Specter of New Infectious Diseases" where he brings to light the ways in which our society may potentially be facing future epidemics due to climate change. The purpose of the infographic is to simplify the rather scientific article created by Casadevall and is meant to be understood at the most basic level making it an easy read for people of all scientific backgrounds and ages.
